Since opening in winter 2017/2018, the new family gastronomy on Hannigalp has become a veritable treat for all family generations.

Food

The ultra-modern family mountain restaurant has space for 1,060 diners, while its sun terrace boasts glorious views of several 4,000m peaks, including the world-famous Matterhorn. An extensive self-service restaurant can be found on the ground floor. In addition to the fairy-tale backdrop, the restaurant features a large salad buffet as well as serving homemade soups, freshly made sandwiches and a large number of warm menu items such as pizza, pasta and burgers. A wide range of pastries and various coffee specialities complete the offer. There is also much to delight younger guests.

Special features

Various zones including an integrated bar with lounge and two eating areas all make for a convivial atmosphere. The top floor houses the Matterhorn Room, the perfect venue for seminars, conferences, company and club events as well as weddings. The room can accommodate up to 160 people and be run independently. A spacious terrace adjacent to this room is set against a spectacular backdrop of the Matterhorn and Weisshorn. The basement is home to SiSu Wolkenland, a unique indoor play paradise that guarantees fun and excitement for kids. Here, mascot SiSu (Sicher Sunna) has 200m2 of space in which to have fun with clouds and the sun. Children can explore a fairy-tale world comprising a sunshine obstacle course, cloud climbing wall, sunshine cinema, cloud experiments and thunder room. Next door is the supervised play area, which has also been extended and restyled, allowing more families to make better use of this exclusive offer: the ski pass includes two hours of childcare in the SiSu play area. Free WiFi is available throughout the family mountain restaurant, which also has a number of free phone charging stations.
