Group Excursions: Moors

The BirdLife Nature Centre at La Sauge, between Ins (BE) and Cudrefin (VD), is located on the edge of Switzerland's two most important bird sanctuaries, the Fanel and the Cudrefin sanctuaries, on the south-eastern shore of Lake Neuchâtel (Grande Cariçaie).

In Bad Zurzach, visitors can explore two nature reserves and then head to the spa to relax.

Barren highland moors, flower-filled lowland fens and unspoiled moorlands are a treat for the senses! Moors stretch out as far as the eye can see. Nowhere else in Switzerland has as much national protected moorlands in one small area than Entlebuch.
