The Tessanda (hand weavers) in the Val Müstair (Münstertal) now has 18 looms and employs 8 people.
Here in this 80 year-old traditional enterprise, pupils from the valley and all over Switzerland receive training in an occupation that has become rare nowadays. In the sales outlet in the middle of Sta. Maria there is a wide choice of hand-woven treasures, including fashion accessories, gifts and items for use in the home.
