Churwaldner-Tour
Overview
Intro
The Churwalden Tour is the ideal after-work tour. With little in the way of altitude difference and technical/fitness requirements it is also suitable for families and e-bikes.
Description
The starting point of this tour is the information office in Churwalden. The tour begins with a gentle section to the monastery dating back to the 12th century on the edge of the village of Churwalden. The route then continues on a gravel road in the direction of Eggentobel and on to the picturesque alpine village of Pradaschier, offering a lovely view over Churwalden and special fun on Switzerland's longest toboggan run. The tour continues with a short downhill section and the crossing of the Rabiosa stream back to Churwalden.
A detour to the heated outdoor swimming pool in Churwalden is ideal for a little well-earned rest and relaxation, ending the day in style. Several restaurants along the route invite to linger for awhile. The route is suitable for beginners, families, and e-bikes.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
