Mountain biking in Graubünden

In the upper part of this trail, designed as a spectacular connection between the three bike destinations Livigno, Engadin and Valposchiavo, the Poschiavino trail is certainly physically and technically demanding, but it rewards passionate bikers with the experience of an alpine world of rare beauty.

The Pendla Trail is trail biking at its very best. It zigzags its way down into the valley from the Furnerberg to Grüsch, across both flatter and seriously steep sections. It's a demanding single-trail downhill run for experienced bikers.

The circular bike route from Sedrun to the Maighels Hut first leads straight to the source of the Rhine before crossing the Oberalp Pass and returning to Sedrun. Pleasant resting areas, SAC Huts and restaurants along the route entice you to take a break.

From the valley floor to Alpine huts. From Olivone, the path follows ancient historical routes through beautiful larch woods to Capanna Bovarina at 1,870 metres above sea level. The effort of the climb is rewarded by a smooth descent through pastures and woods surrounded by breathtaking views.

This tour is ideally suited as an after-work tour. It is short, featuring interesting and slightly uphill trail sections with wonderful wide-open views as well as fast-flowing and steep but simpler sections downhill that call for the right measure of concentration.

The «Capricorn Tour» is a medium to difficult level tour with great variety in the Val Nandro - a side valley of Surses. The highlights of this tour are the high plain of Radons as well as Somtgant at 2112 metres.

The rocky path through Val d’Uina is world famous by now. This section is the undisputed highlight on the second stage of the Trans-Altarezia route.

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who has the fairest lake of all? Val di Camp, of course - with Lagh da Saoseo, located along the legendary downhill run from Pass da Val Viola to Poschiavo on the fourth day of the Trans-Altarezia route.

Fimber Pass from Ischgl to the Lower Engadine is part of so many transalpine routes. On the Trans-Altarezia route it forms the start of a fantastic mountain bike week.

The Panorama Ride takes us around the entire Prättigau valley. It features amazing views of the stunning Rätikon mountain range, takes us through the gentler terrain of the Duranna region, not to mention a number of tasty climbs and runs back down into the valley on single trails. In a word: unique!

For those, who prefer to go downhill instead of uphill, this tour is for you. The trail down the southeast flank of Parpan Rothorn makes every freerider's heart beat faster.

The Trans-Altarezia route ends with Italian ambiance and a pizza, as it should be. But first, the route from Poschiavo to Tirano offers a lot of biking fun.

The route winds leisurely up through the typical meadow slopes of the seemingly untouched «Tal des Lichts» (Valley of Light) to the gentle pass into the Surselva. The descent to Trun leads via St. Martin on the sun terrace of Obersaxen.

The route Col d'Anzana is a pleasant surprise for all riders conquering it for the first time. In spite of the relatively modest altitude of over 2,200 metres, the Col d'Anzana offers a fascinating descent down to Tirano incorporating a difference in altitude of 1,800 metres.

The ascent to Uaul Cavorgia is perspiration producing but rewarding in terms of flora and views. Sparser in Val Maighels on the way up to the Oberalppass then truly high-Alpine. The terrific single trail demands top biking techniques.

The Churwalden Panoramic Tour is for leisure cyclists as well as beginners. The route does not require much in the way of technical cycling ability, and the climbs are regular and mostly on asphalted roads or tracks.

This bike route combines nature and sports experiences with a sprinkling of history and culture thrown in. The effort of climbing past numerous mountain farms is rewarded with a brisk ride down to the Poschiavo Lake.

After a brief warm-up ride to Litzirüti, you need good climbing skills. These are rewarded with fabulous impressions and an equally fabulous single track once you reach the top. The descent to Litzirüti allows your muscles to relax before the final ascent demands a last push.

The varied route around the Swiss National Park leads across two Alpine passes and past Europe's highest mountain pine forest. In four one-day stages you experience the unique countryside on the National Park bike marathon route.

This route cuts right through the Flimser Forest, over the alluvial deposits from the Flimser rockslide to the edge of the Rhine Gorge. Along the way, Lakes Cauma and Cresta offer the perfect opportunity to pause and take a dip.

The route through Flims Forest affords views of the Flims landslide scenery and the magnificent Upper Rhine Gorge. Well suited to the needs of beginners and families. Conn, with its great views, is the ideal place for refreshments.

Panoramic and high-altitude round route from Ardez via the alps Murtera and Sura to the Schellen-Ursli village Guarda. The views of the picturesque Lower Engadine Dolomites, as well as the biodiverse flora at this altitude, don’t fail to amaze with every step.

The Rhine Gorge in Graubünden is one of the most majestic and diverse landscapes in the Alps. The wild gorge combines roaring rapids with steep white cliffs and expansive woodlands. On this round tour circle this spectacle of nature on forest paths and single trails.

The Churwalden Tour is the ideal after-work tour. With little in the way of altitude difference and technical/fitness requirements it is also suitable for families and e-bikes.

A black lake, beautiful views of the castle Tarasp and the other side of the valley. However, the highlight only follows after that: woodland and gravel dominate the racy, winding descent from Avrona to Vulpera.

The main object of this tour is the high plateau Alp Flix above the village Sur. Originally, a Roman way, the tour passes through this high moor, which is of national significance. The fantastic descent adds a further highlight to the tour.

For a leisurely ride and for families this round tour through idyllic countryside offers a lot of fun! With pleasant and gentle declines and slight ascents, this route is suitable even for bikes without extra suspension.

On this tour the Silvrettahorn and its glacier appear almost within reach. This impressive run along the upper reaches of the Prättigau valley gives even technically less accomplished bikers a fantastic experience of nature and mountain biking.

On this tour you can enjoy legendary insights into the picturesque Weisstannental with the «Tectonic Arena Sardona» UNESCO site, sleepy Alps and wild nature. Most of the route covers unsurfaced roads.

Short single trail through the rugged Albulatobel up to Mistail church, tunnel and uneven rooted trail to Muldain, high over the gorge of the Albula, long ascent to Glaspass, downhill bliss for experienced bikers then on an old mule track to Safien Platz.
