Beyond Lenk in the Simmental Valley, Iffigenalp offers glowing green pastures, turquoise lakes and a run that’s adventurous but still friendly underfoot.

No trail comes closer to the famous Eiger North Face – with the Eiger Trail you are guaranteed two hours of top notch thrills.

The tour begins in the medieval Zähringer town of Murten with its historic Old Town of national importance and numerous arcades. The wall encircling the town was built between the 13th and 17th centuries and is one of the best-preserved fortifications in Switzerland.

This tour isn’t called a panoramic route for nothing. The entire route offers fascinating views of the striking Alpine terrain around Gstaad, including the Rüebli, Gummfluh and Northern Alps massif.

Starting in Interlaken, this varied path leads along the banks of the River Aare and the shore of Lake Thun through Unterseen. In addition to the waters, the ancient fortress ruins and nature reserve at Weissenau are also truly eye-catching.
