Even future lunar and solar eclipses can be read off the clock face.
The iron console clocks by the Winterthur Liechti clockmakers are also remarkable. In the Uhrenmuseum Winterthur you will truly go on a "journey through time".
The line-up of extraordinary timepieces extends from early instruments for observing the heavens and chronometry, sundials and sand glasses, gigantic wheel clocks and artistic clocks through to pocket watches and electrical timekeepers. The exhibition is divided into topics highlighting the different aspects of the history of timepieces.
