Overview
The Grimsel Pass – an imposing dam surrounded by a mountainous world of rock and ice. This is the source of the Aare, Switzerland's longest river, which stretches from the Alps past the hills of Jura to the Rhine. You follow the course of the river Aare, visit the deep green Lake Brienz, cross the lively Interlaken and the relaxed capital Bern until you reach the Drei-Seen-Land. The river Aare leads you past the picturesque old town of Solothurn until your journey ends in Switzerland's former capital Aarau.
