MTB-Technikkurs - Fokus Sprung- und Kurventechniken

An intensive introduction to the world of trail biking. The program begins with exercises on a practice area, including bunny hops and using a hop jump ramp. This is followed by exploring the Weissenstein bike trail with targeted exercises for jumps, cornering technique, and correct braking.

Video analyses provide valuable insights into your own riding technique and help optimize your position on the bike. After completing the course, you can continue to use the trail independently until the cable car closes with a day ticket.

Age From 12 years possible without adult supervision

Equipment

• Your own bike (trail/freeride full suspension) in perfect condition (check brake pads!)
• 2 spare tubes for your bike with the correct valve and size
• Bike helmet (full-face or regular bike helmet)
• Bike gloves for safety in case of a fall and to prevent blisters (preferably full-finger)
• Protective goggles/sunglasses (mandatory, eye protection)
• Protective gear: knee and elbow pads recommended, chest and back protectors are an advantage
• Weather-appropriate clothing for biking
• Bike shoes: preferably flat (platform shoes) and no clipless pedals (exceptions to be discussed with the instructor)
• 1 bike backpack with chest/waist strap or hip bag large enough to store your clothes and spare tube
• Snacks and water bottle/drink bladder

Tickets Can be booked online or purchased at the Tourist Office at Hauptgasse 69 in Solothurn. Spaces are limited – be quick!

Conduct The offer is carried out with a minimum of 3 participants. If the course is canceled, already purchased tickets will be refunded.
