Overview
Breccaschlund, Gastlosen and Dents de Vounetse Small Alps on green hills. Black and white cows by the wayside. The smell of a hearty fondue. Choral singing in the village center. Unspoilt moorland. Only the canton of Fribourg offers so many clichés in such a small space. Starting from Schwarzsee, the hike leads through the valleys of Jaun and Charmey. On the way, you will discover natural wonders such as the Breccaschlund on Schwarzsee or the untouched forest of Les Reposoirs. The highlight of the tour, however, are the hikes up to the peaks of this region. Kaiseregg, Schwyberg, Dents de Vounetse and of course the Gastlosen offer fabulous views over the evergreen meadows and hills and show the natural wonders of the canton in all their splendour.
