Intro
We set off on our snowshoe tour before sunrise, enjoying the sunrise at the highest point and ending the tour at the Triel mid-station with coffee and pastries. From there, everyone returns individually to Morissen or Vella. Registration required.
Well before sunrise, we set off and trudge through the silent winter landscape with our snowshoes. At the highest point of our tour, we admire the sunrise, which bathes Val Lumnezia in a magnificent light. To conclude, we run to the middle station Triel, where a delicious coffee and fresh pastries await us. The snowshoe tour ends here, individual return to Morissen or Vella. **Date:** Wednesday, February 11, 2026 **Time:** 06:30 AM from Morissen **Meeting point:** 06:00 AM Infobüro Vella, journey by bus to Morissen **Duration:** Ascent approx. 1.5 hours, approx. 380 meters in altitude, total approx. 2.5 hours of pure hiking time **Costs:** CHF 35.00 per person (including coffee and pastries, excluding valley ride with the chairlift) **Participants:** Minimum age 14 years, experience with snowshoes required **Rental equipment:** Snowshoes incl. poles can be rented from the hiking guide for CHF 10.00 (please indicate when registering) **Registration:** by the day before 11:00 AM at the Infobüro Vella
