Untouched Alps and wild passes This hike from the Glarus Alps to the Bernese Oberland takes you through some of the "wildest" mountain regions in Switzerland. The Urnerboden and Engstlenalp Alps lie idyllically on your way. For countless years, herdsmen have brought their cows here to graze in summer and farmed these traditional Alps. While the Alps lie almost untouched before you, several passes make this hiking tour a challenging undertaking. Certainly one of the most beautiful hiking tours in Switzerland.
