Intro

The Gaskessel is a cultural centre in a former industrial building with two domes. It came into being at the start of the Bern youth unrests in the early 1970s and grew into a significant platform for more open space in Bern.

The entire facility is located in the former gas reservoirs of the city of Bern. It has a number of rooms for concerts, parties, night clubs, bars, theatre, film nights and much more besides. The Gaskessel features various different styles, while two dance floors allow for music variety and boast many highlights.
