Intro

Eine thematische Gruppenausstellung, in der sich 55 zeitgenössische Kunstschaffende und Kollektive mit dem Zustand der Welt, mit Hoffnung und Zukunfts

Zu Beginn der zweiten Corona-Welle liess Udo Lindenberg 2020 sein Stück «Horizont» spielen und schrieb dazu: «Harte Zeiten. Aber hinterm Horizont geht’s weiter, das ist ja wohl klar. […] ZUSAMMEN SIND WIR STARK. […] Haltet durch!» Seine Worte waren Durchhalteparole wie Zeichen der Hoffnung für seine Fans. Heute lesen sie sich wie eine düstere Vorahnung auf die aktuelle Weltlage, in der die Erosion demokratischer Werte Anlass zur Sorge gibt wie schon lange nicht mehr.

Das Museum nimmt Lindenbergs Apell auf und realisiert ein Projekt, das Ausstellung wie Bekundung ist. Es vereint persönliche Statements von Künstler:innen, die dem Museum verbunden sind. Sie präsentieren Werke, die sie mit ihrem Bild dessen verbinden, was hinter dem Horizont ist oder sein könnte – mit Ideen, kritischen Perspektiven und individuellen Bildern der Hoffnung schaffen sie neue Landkarten für die Zukunft.
