The Anabaptist Trail – Chemin des Anabaptistes
The Anabaptists were consistent in their faith and did not have their children baptised. They were allowed to settle in the Jura under the protection of the Bishop of Basel.
The two-day hike reveals numerous Anabaptist traces: Secret meeting places, mysterious inscriptions, extensive walls of dry stone along with Baptist archive with unpublished documents, books and objects.
