Descripción
The beautiful Saanenland region is well-known for all it has to offer. If you want to experience nature at its purest, far away from the hustle and bustle of tourism, this mostly level panorama path is for you. The route crosses the high plateau of the Saanenmöser Moos and leads to Schönried. The path winds its way through the picturesque region, marked by lush green, wild vegetation and tranquillity.
Here you escape daily routine before hardly leaving the village. Surrounded by flower-filled meadows, shady forests and gently-rolling hills, the route offers the most pleasant way of finding peaceful recreation. Along the way you'll be able to feast your eyes on authentic farmsteads built in the chalet style so typical of the region. After a while the easy high-level path leads over a small bridge and you soon find yourself in Schönried territory.
You continue following the peaceful route to the village of Schönried, which itself is a romantic chalet village, nestling on the sun terrace of the region. The perfect place to make a rest stop in one of the restaurants, after such wonderful experiences in nature and before setting off for home.
