Intro
Swiss traditions to experience
From 3.00 pm, there will be lots of exciting games for young and old, and the opportunity to test your marksmanship in the shooting gallery. The Time Out Bistro offers delicious drinks and food, while the talented alphorn soloist LISA STOLL creates a festive atmosphere in the afternoon.
From 6.00 pm, you can look forward to the festival restaurant, where delicious dishes such as Chäsbrätel, Älplermaggronen and grilled sausages will be served. Homemade pastries and a selection of hot and cold drinks will also be available.
Until 7.30 pm, the Mürren-Musig, a local brass band, will play traditional pieces and Willy Michel with the alphorn and accordion and Walter Blatti will play traditional Swiss songs.
Afterwards, ‘take this’ will play their versatile repertoire - ranging from Pepe Lienhard to the Swiss Jazz Orchestra, from Züri West to Patent Ochsner, from Greis to Chica Torpedo.
The highlight of the evening is the lantern procession at 9.00 pm, led by the Trychlerbuebä Schmadribach. The procession starts at the BLM station and leads to Untere Dorfstrasse and the sports centre. Afterwards, the celebration continues with music. It's sure to be an unforgettable day! Have fun!
