An oasis on the shores of Lake Maggiore for all those who love sport, fun and well-being associated with water. The lido is open all year round, whatever the weather. It includes indoor and outdoor pools, an Olympic-size swimming pool, a thermal pool, a play pool and four water slides.

スイス南部のロカルノからイタリアのドモドッソラまで、83の美しい橋、31のトンネルを渡り、いくつもの谷を走り抜ける約2時間の絶景ルート。スイス側のチェントヴァッリ（イタリア語で100の谷）地方を走る「チェントヴァッリ鉄道　Centovallina」、イタリア側のヴィジェッツォ谷／ヴァル・ヴィジェッツォVal Vigezzoを走る「ヴィジェッツィーナ鉄道　Ferrovia Vigezzina」の路線をつなぎ、国境を越えて結んでいます。1923年の路線開通前には人がなかなか入れない地域で、手付かずの自然が残されており、谷間に滝の水音が聞こえる新緑のあざやかな春や山の木々が黄金色に色づく秋など、四季折々に異なる魅力を体験できる鉄道です。2023年に100周年を迎え、新型車両が導入されています。

約100年前、マッジョーレ湖畔のロカルノに最初の木が植えられて以来、この温暖な地に定着したカメリア。日本原産のこの美しい花は地元の人々の心を魅了し、カメリア・フェスティバル（ツバキまつり）が開かれるなど、今ではロカルノを代表する春の花となっています。 そしてこの祭りのメイン会場でもあったマッジョーレ湖畔の1万平方メートルの広大な土地にカメリア公園がオープン。毎年、世界各国の園芸家と交流しながら品種を増やし、現在では約950種類ものカメリア（ツバキ）が栽培されています。
