Crossing the Schin Gorge between Tiefencastel, Alvaschein and Sils in Domleschg was not for nervous travellers.

Ernst Ludwig Kirchner moved from Germany to Davos in 1917, in the hope of overcoming his tablet addiction. The expressionist spent the last 20 years of his life painting in the Graubünden mountains. His works are today admired in the Kirchner Museum - a highly regarded construction by the architects Gigon / Guyer.

絶景パノラマ鉄道「ベルニナ・エクスプレス」も走る、世界遺産に認定されたレーティッシュ鉄道ベルニナ線のハイライトでもある鉄道建築。落石の危険がある山間の狭い谷で、昔からの道路や農家の耕作地を守りながら、最後の高度を調整するという難題に答えて完成した、世界でも類を見ない360度ループの石橋です。長さ約142.8メートル。円を描きながら列車は走り、約10メートルの高度を調整していきます。 約1800mの高低差のあるルートを歯車式（ラックレール）登山鉄道ではなく、通常レール（粘着式）で克服したアルプスの山岳鉄道の傑作といわれるベルニナ線の象徴ともいえるループ橋です。

イタリア国境へのびる谷奥にある小さなミュスタイア村の修道院が世界遺産に選ばれています。8世紀にカール大帝（シャルルマーニュ）の命を受けたクール司教によって建てられ、9世紀にベネディクト派の宗教施設、12世紀から女子修道院となったもので、外からみると質素な建物ですが、20世紀におこなわれた付属教会の改修工事の際に、壁画の下からさらに古い時代の壁画が発見されて一躍注目を集めました。

In the 13th century, the German-speaking Walsers settled the mountainous areas in Davos and Klosters. In the remotest area of the romantic side valley of Sertig, farming settlements still dominate the landscape.

Silvretta Park in Klosters offers children a wonderful playground specially designed to satisfy their every wish.

The Lenzerheide Bike Park boasts five thrilling trails, making this the perfect playground for mountain bikers.

From a stroll around the old town to the hiking trail, the city of Chur, with its local mountain Brambrüesch, has nature right on its doorstep. Hiking trails, meadows filled with flowers and cycling routes can all be reached in no time at all via cable car.

世界遺産のベルニナ線の駅からロープウェイでわずか10分でアクセスできる標高3000mのアルプス絶景展望台。雄大なピッツ・パリュ（3905m）、ベラヴィスタ（3922m）、ピッツ・ベルニナ（4049m）、ピッツ・カンブレナ（3604m）などベルニナアルプスの山々とペルス氷河が眼前に広がります。

ヒンターライン地方のトゥージスから、エンガディン地方のサン・モリッツを結ぶアルブラ線と、サン・モリッツからイタリアのティラーノまでを結ぶベルニナ線。グラウビュンデン州を走るスイス最大の私鉄会社レーティッシュ鉄道が誇る約100年の歴史と伝統の鉄道路線と周辺に広がる風景が2008年7月7日に新しい世界文化遺産に認定されました。

ダヴォスからケーブルカーで結ぶ標高約1860mの展望台シャッツアルプの上から長さ500m、標高差240メートルのコースターです。カーブを何度も曲がりつつ、美しいアルプスの山々と花々が咲く草原を滑降します。

1872年に開館したグラウビュンデン州立歴史博物館。17世紀に建てられた貴族の館に新石器時代からの考古学発掘品から19・20世紀までの各時代を代表する歴史資料を展示。豊かなグラウビュンデン州の歴史を物語る約10万点のコレクションを所有しており、常設展示のほか、テーマを決めて企画展も開催しています。

世界遺産に登録されているレーティッシュ鉄道アルブラ線のフィリズール駅とアルバノイ駅の間にある最も有名な橋。長さ142m、高さ65m。5つの橋脚とアーチが美しい石造りの高架橋は、「ベルニナ・エクスプレス」「グレッシャー・エクスプレス（氷河特急）」というパノラマ展望列車ルートのハイライトのひとつです。

Located in Bergün, right beside the Albula line of the Rhaetian Railway, the new Albula Railway Museum is a must for all railway enthusiasts.

ルクマニエ峠とオーバーアルプ峠への入口にあたるディゼンティスの丘にそびえる、ふたつの尖塔が印象的なバロック建築の傑作といわれるベネディクト派修道院は、グラウビュンデン州で最も重要な男子修道院です

紀元前からの歴史を誇る癒しの鉱泉地として知られるサン・モリッツに誕生したスパ＆スポーツセンター。室内プールやジャグジー付き屋外プール、ダイビングプール、ウォータースライダー、クナイプやスチームバス、サウナや各種マッサージ、本格的なジムやトレーニングコース、アウトドアセンター、ショップ、レストランもあります。

クール郊外のクールヴァルデンにあるアルパインコースターは全長3.1キロ。スイス随一の長さを誇ります。標高差480メートルを約7分で滑降。美しいアルプスの風景を満喫できるコースです。

The botanical garden Alpinum Schatzalp is privately run through the Berghotel Schatzalp. The Alpinum is at an average altitude of over 1800 meters and covers a total area of approx. 5 hectares. Numerous different habitats merge into one another and form the most diverse Locations for plant collections such as edelweiss, gentian, bluebells and much more.

Two cable cars over the blue lakes of the Upper Engadin – different heights, different experiences: On the Corvatsch you can enjoy high-alpine views of Piz Bernina’s Biancograt ridge, while Furtschellas offers a hiking paradise with six mountain lakes.

On the famous Squirrel Path, children can feed the lively squirrels and enjoy a story that describes the life of a squirrel.
