This magnificent country park boasts one of the best vantage points in Lausanne. But the panoramic views are by no means the only attribute that attracts visitors. There is a tree here that is worth a visit all on its own. This is a unique weeping willow, situated some 50 metres from the manor house, that was planted in the middle of the 19th century.

ローザンヌ北部にある緑豊かな森林公園。2005年に完成した高さ35mの木造の見晴らし塔は、ローザンヌの森の木々を材料につくられました。151段の階段をあがれば、レマン湖やアルプス山脈、ジュラ山脈などを見渡す大パノラマが楽しめます。塔の利用は無料。小さな湖のほとりには、レストランもあり、週末にはいつも多くの人でにぎわっている市民の憩いの場所です。市内からバスで約30分。気軽に足をのばせるスポットです。

標高3000mに氷原が連なる「グレッシャー3000」に完成したのは、世界で最も高所にあるといわれる全長約1キロメートルのアルパイン・コースター。アルプスの絶景とスリルを存分に堪能することができます。

国際オリンピック委員会（IOC）本部のあるローザンヌに1993年開館したオリンピックの殿堂。開館10周年におこなわれた大規模拡張工事を経て、2013年12月にリニューアルオープンしました。過去のオリンピックのすべて、スポーツの歴史と数々の感動の瞬間がつまった世界唯一のオリンピック博物館。スイス旅行の際にはぜひ訪れたいスポットです。

Lavey has one of Switzerland’s hottest thermal springs. The thermal water gushes at 69°C out of the spring. Bathers enjoy the salubrious effects of thermal water in the spas of Lavey.

1841年、州都であるローザンヌに開館したヴォー州立美術館は、スイス屈指の歴史を誇る美術館のひとつです。 2019年にリュミーヌ宮から旧国鉄の車庫を使った芸術複合センター『プラットフォーム10』に移転。新装オープンした美術館では、ヴォー州にゆかりのある芸術家の作品を中心に1万点を超える芸術作品を収蔵しており、まざまな特別展を開催しています。

薬学生のためにつくられた薬草園を中心に、ヴォー州に生育する幅広い植物を保存、研究するために1824年に設立された州立植物園。アルプス山脈やジュラ山脈の岩石を持ち込み自然の植生をできるだけ忠実に再現し、高山植物や水生植物など約6000種の植物を栽培しており、春から秋にかけて四季折々に美しい花々が楽しめます。

モルジュ郊外の美しい葡萄畑に囲まれた「ヴュイユラン城」。中世の古城跡に18世紀に建てられた歴史的な邸宅です。約100ヘクタールの広大な敷地につくられた花庭園では、5月・6月にかけて咲き誇るアイリスを中心に、エメロカル、バラやシャクナゲ、ラヴェンダー、イングリッシュ・ブルーベルなど、季節ごとに、さまざまな美しい花々が楽しめます。

モントルーのハウスマウンテンといわれる標高2042mの山で、レマン湖とフレンチアルプスとスイスアルプスを見渡す眺望が美しい展望スポット。高山植物やマーモットとのふれあいが楽しめる夏季にはハイキングが人気。冬季にはスキー場となります。一年を通してモントルーから山頂へアプト式登山鉄道で結びます。

Every couple of minutes, a train from Lausanne-Ouchy by Lake Geneva runs almost silently uphill to the SBB railway station and onwards via the city centre (Flon) to Epalinges-Croisettes. The fully automated Métro trains are remotely controlled and spend half their time underground.

Restoring historic signs and unique works of art, you'll visit Bertille Laguet's Forge, trained at Ecal (a prestigious French-speaking design school) and with master wrought-iron craftsman Philippe Naegele. In Chexbres, on the balcony of Lake Geneva nestled in the heart of the Lavaux region, a UNESCO World Heritage site, you can visit the workshop, watch forging demonstrations, and maybe even try your hand at forging a nail.

太古の海だったアルプス山脈の塩山。15世紀に発見されてから現在まで岩塩が採掘されています。1684年からの塩窟の歴史を伝えるミュージアムです。

夏季の「チョコレート・トレイン」に対して、冬季限定で誕生した「チーズ・トレイン」。MOB鉄道の特別車両に乗って、モントルーから「レティヴァ」チーズの里として知られるシャトーデーへ。昔ながらのチーズづくりを見学して、本場のチーズ・フォンデュを楽しむ小旅行です。好評のため2013年から毎冬運行してきましたが、2022年からは通年で楽しめるようになりました。

レマン湖畔にテラス状に葡萄畑が広がる美しいラヴォー地区の中心となるリヴァにあるビジターセンター。世界遺産にも認定されている葡萄づくりの歴史、文化、ワインを紹介しています。300種類以上の銘柄をそろえており、バーで味わうことも、購入することもできます。

レマン湖のほとりの岩上に建てられ、水面に浮かんでいるようにみえる名城。中世にサヴォイア公の居城として使われていた歴史を誇り、スイスを代表する古城です。

ヴヴェイに本社を置く『ネスレNestlé』の財団が運営する食の総合ミュージアム。1918〜20年に建てられた旧ネスレ本社の歴史的な建物につくられました。多角的に食の世界を体験することができます。ネスレ創業150周年を祝う2016年6月、最新技術を駆使した展示が魅力的なミュージアムにリニューアルしました。

The bell tower of the Gothic cathedral, high on the hill on which the Old Town is built, is home to the city’s most enigmatic resident.

1999年に熱気球による初の世界一周無着陸飛行を達成した時の記念すべき出発地でもあり、気球の里として知られるシャトデーにつくられた熱気球博物館。かつて市庁舎として使われていた村の歴史的な建物を利用して、2005年1月にオープンしました。

An alpine course, located at an altitude of 1600 m in the heart of the Vaud Alps, the 18-hole par 69 Villars Golf Course is open from May to November. SFの世界や空想物語、ユートピアなど非現実的な世界への旅をテーマにしたユニークな博物館。仏人コレクターのピエール・ヴェルサンが蒐集してきた5万点に及ぶ本やアイテムのコレクションを元に1976年オープンしました。常設展「未来の記憶」は20世紀に発表された、さまざまなSF作品（本、雑誌、ポスター、絵画、写真、映画、ゲーム）を紹介しています。企画展も随時開催。また通路で接続した別館に「ジュール・ヴェルヌ記念館（エスパス・ジュール・ヴェルヌ）」がオープンしました。
