호텔은 루체른(Lucern) 올드타운에 있는 일곱 채의 유서 깊은 건물에서 유래되었고, 1517년 “빵(pinte)” (식당)으로 처음 언급되어 있다. 매년 1~3개의 객실을 완전히 보수하고 있다. 소박한 부르거슈투베(Burgerstube)와 소바쥬(Sauvage) 레스토랑(고미요 14포인트 획득) 두 개의 레스토랑이 있으며, 요리 중 비프 스트로가노프(Beef Stroganoff)와 샤토브리앙(Chateaubriand) 두 가지가 매우 유명하다. 케쎌투엄(Kesselturm) 주차장은 호텔 바로 옆에 위치해 있다.

A hotel rich in character. Experience 500 years of history. Welcome to one of Lucerne's most tradition-steeped hotels. Guests have been well looked after here for 500 years. It was originally a bar, later a tavern. We have been a hotel since 1860. Yes, the Wilden Mann certainly has seen an eventful history. You will sense this when you hear the floor and woodwork creaking as you walk along the winding passageways. Come in and be enchanted. You might well find yourself wanting to come back again. 48 lovingly furnished rooms. It is true that many of our regular guests have a favourite room - until we give them a different one. All our rooms are furnished with the greatest of care and lots of attention to detail, and each one has its own personal touch. As such, our rooms are refreshingly old-fashioned - perfect for a change of scenery. But with all the modern accoutrements, of course.

지금의 빌덴 만(Wilden Mann)은 루체른(Lucern) 중심에 자리잡은 그림 같은 중세 마을에 지어졌던 일곱 채의 별도 건물들로 구성되어 있다.

호텔의 설립은 1517년 처음 서면으로 기록되었는데 최초의 이름은 “빵(pinte)”으로, 이는 면허가 없는 집이라는 뜻이었고, 실제로 1726까지 빌덴 만(Wilden Mann)은 선술집의 형태로 영업을 했다.

복합건물 모두는 루체른(Lucern) 관광산업 역사의 인상적인 증거로 여겨진다.

호텔은 각각 다른 일곱 채의 건물의 복합체임에도 주변을 둘러싼 역사적인 건축양식과 완벽히 조화를 이루며 여전히 눈에 띄는 벨 에포크 건축물로 인정 받고 있다.

The Romantik Hotel Wilden Mann is ideally and quietly located in the historical old town of Lucerne; close to the pedestrian zone, 200m from Lucerne's most attractive landmark the Chapel Bridge, a few steps from shopping area and business district, just 8 minutes walk from train station and lake.
