Kandersteg is a paradise for cross-country skiing, with more than 100 kilometres of trails. But the fun goes on even after dark – thanks to the floodlights.
The extensive network of cross-country trails in the village of Kandersteg can be reached from anywhere in a few minutes. Those who haven’t tired themselves out during the day can strap their skis back on in the evening. The 6km trail is freshly groomed each day before 5.30 p.m. and floodlit until 9 o’clock. It’s a varied route that runs through the middle of the village.
