Inleiding
The new, airy, bright Information Centre of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne with its curved lines is a delightful example of modern architecture.
Its Japanese architects, who also designed the new MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) in New York, won the international architectural competition for the design of the building in 2004. The Rolex Learning Center is a real feat of technological innovation and is home to a vast research library, training, catering and exhibition areas - all on the shores of Lake Geneva.
