The Jona youth hostel lies in a rural setting, close to the Lake of Zürich and yet is only 20 minutes' walk from the small, historic town of Rapperswil. The former old people's home in the Busskirch part of town was converted to a youth hostel in 1991.
Jona is the place where a whole host of holiday dreams come true and thanks to its lake-side location, is an ideal base for all water-sports lovers. The family youth hostel is in the middle of the countryside, surrounded by fields, alpine meadows and a farm, which is home to a wide variety of animals.
The published prices include the daily membership of Swiss Youth Hostels and Hostelling International.

Take the train to Rapperswil. From the station, it’s a 25-minute walk alongside Lake Zurich or take the “Bhf Süd 991” bus to the “Busskirch” stop from where it’s a 10-minute walk to the youth hostel.
By car: The youth hostel has a limited number of chargeable car parking spaces.
