The wine regions and their vineyards

The Vaud wine country is divided into four main areas: La Côte stretches out along the western part of Lake Geneva, to Féchy and Mont-sur-Rolle in the centre and municipalities such as Vinzel, Perroy and Aubonne at both sides. The Lavaux region, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since June 2007, extends from Lausanne to Vevey and Montreux.

The Lavaux winegrowing region was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2007.
