简介

Die Ausstellung spürt dem Zeitgeist der Schweizer Kunstszene der 1970er-Jahre nach und eröffnet einen assoziativen Blick darauf.

Aufbruchsstimmung liegt in der Luft: Experimentierfreude, neue Formen der Zusammenarbeit und künstlerische Vielfalt prägen die Schweizer Kunstszene der 1970er-Jahre. In dieser elektrisierenden Atmosphäre entfalten sich unterschiedliche Stile gleichwertig nebeneinander.

Auch Aarau wird in jener Zeit zu einem Kristallisationspunkt: In der Ateliergemeinschaft Ziegelrain arbeiten Künstler, die ihre Inspiration in internationalen Tendenzen wie Nouveau Réalisme, Pop-Art und konzeptuellen Ansätzen finden. Miteinander nebeneinander zeigt Ausprägungen dieser Strömungen auf lokaler und nationaler Ebene.
