简介
The proud looking cluster of buildings, which once belonged to a bishop and still hosts horse stables to this day, is a popular destination for nature-loving hikers, especially when it snows.
Information
Description
Ambience:
As difficult as it is to get a free chair on the sheltered sun terrace when the sun is shining, it is nearly impossible to get a table without reservation on a rainy day inside the rustic alpine restaurant of the Landhotel Meierei. Three generations of a family can often be found sitting at the tables, and once you have a place, you don’t give it up so easily.
Location:
Located at 1,800 metres at the edge of the forest above Lake St. Moritz.
Cuisine:
Well prepared market-fresh food made with regional produce: Bünden barley soup, minced meat with Hörnli pasta and apple puree, mountain herbs salad with dried tomatoes and mozzarella cheese, a choice of tartare variations with butter brioche fresh from the oven, homemade veal shank ravioli with wild mushroom ragu, confit of lake trout fillet with vegetables and porcini tapenade, beef tagliata with rosemary potatoes and plum chutney. Special kids menu with chicken nuggets, schnitzel and chips, pasta Bolognese, mozzarella cheese sticks. Beautiful selection of wines mainly from Switzerland, Italy and France.
Good to know:
