Al Bosco & Mark Twain Lounge
概覽
簡介
Some mountain restaurants are worth a visit because of the views, others because of their food. The Al Bosco, which is part of the Riffelalp Resort and situated opposite the luxury hotel, scores on both counts.
Information
Description
Ambience:
With its magnificent sun terrace and the rustic cosy restaurant inside, the Al Bosco invites guests to linger. Even more elegant is the terrace of the Mark Twain Lounge, situated directly at the hotel.
Location:
Located at an altitude of 2,222 metres at one of these stunningly rare locations in the heart of the Gornergrat ski area.
Cuisine:
The Al Bosco’s kitchen staff have to compete against these unbelievable views, but they succeed with no-fuss, well prepared Italian cuisine (vitello tonnato, tagliatelle alla zucca, filetto di branzino…) and possibly the best pizza in the Matterhorn village. Food in the Mark Twain Lounge is of equally high quality, in particular the trilogy with smoked Loch Fyne salmon, duck foie gras terrine and tuna as well as the Rösti with Parma ham or giant crevettes and other variations.
Good to know:
