Pierre-Olivier Bagnoud (mountain guide) and Franck Reynaud (cook) welcome you to their mountain hut, located at an altitude of 2,208 metres in the Crans-Montana ski area.

This historical and well managed mountain hotel has welcomed guests for more than 150 years. Even Winston Churchill has once spent his vacation here. He “slept like a log” and, in his own words, “has never felt healthier than in this magnificent place”.

At the Cerf you take a seat under an impressive vaulted ceiling. The cuisine fantastique by Carol Crisci presents an exciting contrast to the historical setting: the master chef conjures up delicate dishes out of down-to-earth products that impress with fancy and very modern sophistication.

Views onto 10 Swiss lakes… Which other mountain restaurant could beat that? And if that wasn’t enough, the Fornalpstock, bearing the same name as the mountain that it is on, also offers a fantastic panorama of numerous Alpine peaks in Central Switzerland.
