簡介

The descent from the Titlis to Engelberg is one of the longest in the Alps – a full twelve kilometres. In its upper part especially, there are some exceptionally difficult sections. From time to time, however, it runs along gentle terrain.

This largest ski area in Central Switzerland offers a highly varied downhill run. It starts at an altitude of over 3,000m on the Titlis Glacier. Before long, on the very steep Rotegg piste, it separates the chaff from the wheat: Good skiers do not have to hold back, while the others take the lift back up the Titlis and then take the cable car to the intermediate station at Stand. From there you enjoy magnificent views as you continue on to Trübsee and then across snowy meadows to Engelberg.
