Criteria

The hotel must be rated by HotellerieSuisse or GastroSuisse in order to take part in the campaign. Online ratings must be at least 80%. 

  • Attractive location

    Hotels are situated by a lake, in the countryside, in the mountains or in prime urban locations in the old town or an attractive central location.

  • Authentic architectural style

    The architecture and design of the hotel are in keeping with the traditional regional location and/or the hotel is historically anchored or established in the region.

  • Swiss cuisine

    At least 30% of the dishes/drinks on the food and drinks menus are Swiss, with regional products also on offer. Care is taken to use seasonal produce.

  • Personal service

    The host must be present and visible to guests. Wherever possible, the hotel must offer guided regional excursions, including activities run in collaboration with the local tourism office.
