Introduction
Japan Food Fest is back in Zug! Experience authentic Japanese food, traditional handmade products, and Japanese culture by the lake.
On 3 & 4 October 2026, the beautiful lakeside promenade in Zug will transform into a celebration of Japanese food and culture. Everyone is welcome to experience one of Switzerland’s largest Japanese food festivals – a festival that actually started in Zug five years ago. Discover authentic Japanese cuisine from restaurants and specialty food stands, including ramen, sushi, takoyaki, matcha treats, Japanese desserts, and many other street food favourites. Vegan and vegetarian options, as well as tasting portions, will also be available. Beyond food, visitors can explore traditional and handmade Japanese products and enjoy various Japanese-themed activities. Whether you are a long-time fan of Japanese cuisine or simply looking for a unique autumn day out with family and friends, Japan Food Fest offers something for everyone.
