Intro
The EGO Gallery at Via Canonica 9 in Lugano was opened to meet a need: it aspires to provide a platform for young artists while at the same time presenting audiences with the latest developments in contemporary art.
The EGO Gallery originated from an idea held by both Valeria Donnarumma and Giacomo Grandini and is intended to be a meeting place and a point of artistic exchange where art lovers can come up with ideas and inspiration and where they can personally and emotionally engage with today's works of art. The gallery is mainly devoted to Street Art, but in the broadest sense of the term. This project focuses on paying greater attention to young modern artists - young talent as well as established artists - and to supporting new generations of artists. The EGO Gallery is especially noted for its organising of far-reaching projects that involve young local artists.
