The TWO is the electrifying encounter between Yannick Nanette, a Mauritian artist with a solar groove, and Thierry Jaccard, a Swiss musician with a blues sensibility. Together, they create a unique universe where the Creole roots of the Mascarene Islands mingle with the vibrations of the blues, giving birth to a deeply human, vibrant and luminous music.
In less than ten years, they've set fire to some 800 stages around the world, from the Montreux Jazz Festival to the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal, and shared the bill with legends such as Ben Harper, Mavis Staples and Johnny Hallyday.
With their new album Sadela - "ces deux-là" in Mauritian Creole - the duo take us on a spellbinding musical journey. Carried by fine acoustic melodies, organic rhythms and a voice that touches the heart, Sadela reinvents the blues.
The TWO is more than a band: it's an experience, an invitation to feel, travel and vibrate to the rhythm of music that speaks to the soul.
