You can almost hear the footsteps of the pilgrims on the Route of St. James between the pilgrimage church of Werthenstein (located at the edge of Entlebuch) and Willisau. Cultural variety, fascinating history and and memorable landscapes define the hiking tour in Lucerne's Hinterland. Small hamlets, chapels, wayside crosses and villages with magnificent inns - pilgrims always appreciated a good meal - are located along this trail, rich in history and tradtion, which leads through meadows and forests to the well preserved little town of Willisau.
