From Lake Constance to Lake Lucerne From Lake Constance, you ascend with the Appenzell Railway to the hills of Appenzell. Glance back, the sight of the shimmering waters of the lake is superb. Take a deep breath before starting your descent to Trogen. The route continues to the colorful houses of Appenzell, passes at the foot of the Säntis before entering the Toggenburg. You head towards Lake Walen, skirting the Churfirsten, and begin your ascent into Central Switzerland. You will embark on an idyllic route across the high plateau of Einsiedeln before reaching Lake Lucerne at the end of your tour.
