Intro
The Kandertal valley is set in the unique mountain scenery of the Bernese Oberland. You will find some of Switzerland’s most impressive hiking routes here, around the Oeschinen and Blausee lakes, the Gemmi and the Blüemlisalp.
Kandersteg is home to one of the six Ricola herb gardens and this is located right next to the historic Ruedihus inn. The Alpine scenery invites you to linger and explore the fascinating world of herbs. Here in the herb garden you will find all 13 herbs used in making the Ricola herb drops. Feel free to touch and smell the herbs!
