Breithorn Twin East (4,106 m s.l.m.) at a glance
Just 115 metres separate the Eastern Breithorn from its western twin. At 4,106 metres above sea level, the Eastern Breithorn is the slightly smaller of the two Breithorn twin peaks. As part of the Breithorn Plateau, the twin peaks are a popular destination for less experienced climbers of four-thousanders. The Matterhorn Glacier Paradise upper station makes the approximately two-hour ascent considerably easier. The Eastern Breithorn towers high over Zermatt in the Valais Alps, yet is within easy reach for many.
