Bathing in the natural setting of the Three Ponds

The Three Ponds are a natural swimming spot with a magnificent view of the historic city of St. Gallen and Lake Constance. Originally created in the 17th century, the ponds soon became a popular place for bathing and relaxing. These days, the Three Ponds are among the most beautiful natural swimming pools in Switzerland. They not only offer the opportunity for a swim, but also for strolling, picnicking and in winter even ice skating.

Gustav Gleis

Gustav Gleis is a unique creative space where people can meet for an after-work beer and enjoy delicious regional and seasonal dishes. On the site provided for temporary use, under the management of the Bach Areal, 150 trees and shrubs were planted and 3,000m² of biodiverse spaces created. Covered pergolas ensure a pleasant atmosphere even when it rains. Coffee, cakes and delicious ice creams are served in the afternoon, and in the evening there are great drinks to enjoy at the bar. Artists from around the region enchant guests with musical performances. The programme is complemented by workshops and tastings.

Rorschach bathing hut

Bathing like in times gone by: built in 1924, the bathing hut in Rorschach is the only remaining structure of its kind on Switzerland’s shores of Lake Constance and an important meeting place for locals. The restaurant on the access bridge treats guests to fresh drinks, coffee and cake.
