Try out the sensational Skitti toboggan with its inventor Pierluigi at his home.
"The “Skitti” was invented by Ticino ski instructor Pierluigi Paganetti in Nara. He also manufactures the sensational toboggans himself. Thanks to the steerable skis that act as its running treads, the Skitti is easy to steer and can even travel in crazy zig-zags. Pierluigi, creator of the Skitti, personally trains guests in how to operate the toboggan. It feels almost like carving when you find yourself sitting just a few centimetres above the ground as you race through enchanting winter landscapes. Skitti “drivers” can let off some steam as they zip along the 5km track with a descent of 480 metres between Con Pian Nara and Cancorì. The ride will take them rushing through the snow-covered slopes and stunning coniferous forests of the Nara region. Those who complete their first ever Skitti trip in Leontica will be presented with a certificate signed by Pierluigi Paganetti himself to mark the occasion.
