In Melchtal (Obwalden, Central Switzerland), on 890 metres (2900 ft) above sea level, this comfortable group accommodation Juhui Melchtal came into being, after having been a school for family helpers for 30 years. A spacious kitchen, common rooms and the rooms that almost live up to hotel standards will satisfy all demands. Table tennis and baby foot available. In the natural garden with its lawn and covered seating facilities, there is also an outdoor fireplace. Small football and hard pitch in immediate proximity in front of the house. The two sports halls in the village can be rented.
Opposite the pilgrimage church, there is a small grocery and souvenir shop.
The group accommodations Juhui Melchtal can be rented together with the adjoining Juhui Katharina.
The postal bus Sarnen-Melchtal-Stöckalp stops at 100 metres from the house. Melchtal is a starting point for many hiking tours in summer. In winter, the ski area of Melchsee-Frutt can be reached in a 5 minutes'
car drive. Free transfer to the transport facilities.
