29th Hori sledge race
Overview
Intro
The Trychlergruppa Grindelwald invites you to the 29th Horischlitten race from Alpiglen to Grindelwald
Originally, the Hori sledges were used to transport goods such as wood or mown hay. Today, these two-man sledges are also used for races such as this one.
In addition to the sporting competition, the entertainment part in the marquee should also contribute to a sociable and attractive event.
TENDERING
Start: Alpiglen (1616 m), Wegernalpbahn station
Finish: Schützenhaus Aellauenen (980 m), possibly Schürlibar if snow is scarce.
Route length: 4250 m (possibly 1750 m)
Difference in altitude 630 m (possibly 270 m)
Categories: Men and women (teams of two)
Minimum age: 16 years
Normal sleds (racing sleds are not permitted)
Prizes: Special prizes for ranks 1-3 | Prizes in kind (raffle among participants) | A souvenir gift for each participant

Entry fee: CHF 50 per team (entry fee will be collected when numbers are issued, incl. track transportation of sledges and participants)
Registration deadline: Friday, February 21, 2025 (late registration possible on the day of the competition until 10:00 a.m. | surcharge CHF 10.-)
Insurance: Is the responsibility of the participants, the organizer declines any liability.
