Trogen, with its fine mansions, is a village of national significance. The village was developed and shaped by the Zellweger family, which was active in the textile trade. «Jahrhundert der Zellweger» (Century of the Zellwegers), a multifaceted offer open to the public with an exhibition and audio trails, provides an insight into this fascinating world.

The starting point is the Waschhäuschen (a former wash house) on the historic town square, which presents an introduction to the history as well as an overview. You can then follow the audio trails that lead into the town hall with its rococo stucco-work, into the Textile Hall with its fabric samples and into the Laurenz Zellweger Room. In the latter the significance and interconnectedness of the Zellweger family are expressed in a contemporary manner. The church and the village itself are also part of the tour.
