From Wegenstetten through fields with wonderful old cherry trees and onwards past the remains of Alt-Tierstein castle to Frick.
Description
From Wegenstetten, the hiking trail heads towards Schupfart airstrip. Then you climb up via the Fazadelle cross to the 749m Tiersteinberg, where the magnificent view of the Black Forest mountains will make you forget the strenuous ascent. The descent takes you past the restored remains of Alt-Tierstein castle. Perched on a hillock created by a landslide, it was long the domain of the Counts of Tierstein. The route then crosses the Chaltenbrunnen area to reach Frick. During the hike, you traverse fields with wonderful old cherry trees.
Once you reach Frick, you can visit the dinosaur museum, which has plenty to see for visitors of all ages.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
