Seeing them makes it quickly clear what a turbulent history the Ticino has to look back on. You leave the fortress behind and soon reach the hilly landscape of Capriasca. One tour takes you over Monte Bar, the next to the rocks of the Denti della Vecchia. Idyllic villages now alternate with the glamorous life of the beach promenade of Lugano. A wonderful hike along the shore of Lake Lugano concludes this hiking tour.
