Bertschikon (a small village in the municipal area of Gossau, Canton Zurich) is in a very rural location between the lakes Pfäffikersee and Greifensee. Public transport is very well developed, so you can reach the centre of Zurich in just under half an hour. The city has a lot to offer culturally. Its old town is also historically interesting, and a boat trip on the lake to Rapperswil is a unique experience.
