Intro
The arrival alone is spectacular – a cable-car takes you high over the rocks to Gimmelwald (1400 m).
The intact, pedestrian, Alpine village with its 13 farms and many houses decorated with an array of flowers, has maintained its original character. Above all, families and young people from all corners of the world come together here.
