Mozart Tangos Mozart Tangos emerged from an artful fusion of two choreographic works: M pour B and 7 Tangos from Notre Faust, which were united into a new, shared expression. M pour B was created in Brussels in 1990 to mark King Baudouin’s birthday and is choreographed to selected works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, while 7 Tangos from Notre Faust (1975) is based on Argentine tangos. The simple elegance of Mozart and the dancers’ pointe work merge with the sensual intensity of Argentine tangos, performed by male dancers, to create a poetic interplay of contrasts.
