FC Lugano vs FC Basel 1893
Overview
Intro
Watching FC Lugano live means experiencing top-level football up close and following a team that competes at the highest level in Switzerland and on the European stage.
Fast-paced action, quality football and the energy of the crowd combine to create a memorable matchday atmosphere just metres from the pitch.
The experience is made even more special by the AIL Arena, FC Lugano’s brand-new stadium, opened in 2026. Modern, comfortable and intimate, this boutique venue has been designed to offer excellent views and bring supporters closer to the action.
The AIL Arena is part of Lugano’s new ‘Polo Sportivo e degli Eventi’, located in a district that has undergone a major transformation in recent years and is becoming one of the city’s new landmarks. A match here is therefore much more than 90 minutes of football: it is a chance to enjoy sport, atmosphere and a different side of Lugano.
