Im Mittelpunkt stehen dabei keine trockenen Jahreszahlen, sondern die Menschen selbst. Ihre persönlichen Schicksale, prägenden Erlebnisse und der Alltag in dieser einzigartigen Kulturlandschaft werden durch ausdrucksstarke Fotografien und fesselnde Berichte spürbar nahbar gemacht.Die Ausstellung verbindet sorgfältig recherchierte, packende Texte mit historischen und zeitgenössischen Bildern. Besucherinnen und Besucher begegnen Persönlichkeiten, die das Gesicht der Region geprägt haben, entdecken aber auch die oft vergessenen Geschichten der stillen Heldentaten des Alltags. Von jahrhundertealten Traditionen bis hin zu den Facetten des modernen Lebens im Wallis spannt die Schau einen Bogen, der Einheimische wie Gäste gleichermassen begeistert. Das geschichtsträchtige Ambiente des Schlosses bietet dafür den perfekten, atmosphärischen Rahmen. Sie sind herzlich willkommen.
